Bev Hartman is co-founder and CCO of nonprofit The Parent Venture to further her commitment to the well-being of children and families. Previously, Bev was Adjunct Faculty at Pacific Oaks College. She is a former lecturer in the Department of Psychology, Stanford University, as well as a teacher and administrator at research laboratory Bing Nursery School. Bev was the founding director of The Bing Institute, an international learning center for parents and educators.
Bev serves on the Advisory Board of The RILEY Project and the Stanford Parent Advisory Board (PAB) of the Parent Tobacco and Cannabis Prevention Toolkit Project. Previously, Bev served on the Boards of Palo Alto Friends Nursery School and of Challenge Success, Stanford. She has experience as an educational consultant, public school teacher, and preschool director. Bev holds a Bachelor’s in Art and Education with honors from Chatham University and a Master’s in Human Development from Pacific Oaks College. Her favorite roles are as mother of two adult children and grandmother of three grandchildren.
